I was making cookies for some friends one day and couldn't find any tape to close the bags.
What I did have was a bunch of stickers.
One said “Decolonize Midwifery.” Another said “Informed Birth is Liberated Birth.”
So... I used those. 😂
And when I looked at the bags afterward, I thought, these cookies are making a whole statement.
They were just cookies, but now they had something to say.
And somewhere in that moment I thought, Revolutionary Cookies.
That was it.
The name stuck, but so did the idea.
Why can't a really good cookie also say something? Something funny. Something bold. Something that makes you think. Something you agree with. Something you don't. Something that starts a conversation.
So that's what we're doing.
We're making good ass cookies with good ass ingredients, being thoughtful about where we spend our money, and putting a little purpose behind what we make.
